Listen Later

Episode Summary: "Farmers and Shepherds"

A new era has officially arrived in Milbridge. The morning "breakfast business" is booming, bringing in a bustling crowd of workmen that Kirini didn't even know existed in town . Over coffee and burritos, Magda shares a profound philosophy with Kirini and Boots, classifying men into two biblical types: "Farmers," who build civil societies and towns like Managua, and "Shepherds," like the Police Chief, who are cursed to live in the wild to defend against evil .

Bringing a "caliente" energy that rivals the departed Sandra, Olivia leads the packed house in an impromptu line-dance to the sounds of Miami Sound Machine . As the Jalisco beer flows on tap, even the ever-skeptical Aiden finds himself swept up in the rhythm, while Caiden reveals a sophisticated new interest in the "oenological" world of custom fragrances . The episode closes with the community finding a rare, unified groove in a tavern that has truly become the Axis-Mundi of Milbridge.
