Number one, Your friends will tell you what they want you to hear. Number two your friends tell you from their perspective. So we think our friends may be telling us the best advice because they want the best for us. But Sharon says they don't want the best for us. They want things to stay the same because if you move on what does that say about them? They know they are going to lose you.
