1 - Kill The Father 00:00 - 03:48
We recorded this EP between February & April 2019. All songs & lyrics were written by us except Lori Meyers (which was originally written by NOFX) and the obvious Blondie rip off on A Dish Served Cold. We took a couple of verses from Catharsis on the track We Might Never Change The World. The titles of the last two songs were also stolen from Nine Eleven's lyrics. As much as proper tea, copyright's also theft.
The amount of people who helped us during this process was tremendous, as this was pretty much a big collective work between us and a lot of good friends.
William Kay tracked 90% of the instruments at his home studio. He had nearly no free time between work and faculty and still agreed on doing it. He contributed not just with time but with expertise, patience, love & affection. Without him, this record wouldn't be the same. We were truly gifted. The rest was done in Disgraça by us and Reuben, who taught us to record on Linux!
Andre Isidro (Duck Tape Melodies) did an amazing job mixing, mastering and recording the drums while we were running against the clock to release it before our tour. We are deeply grateful.
This record is also a result of our personal and collective experiences & growth, so inevitably Disgraça (the anti-authoritarian social center where we conspire) and everyone involved there are a big part of it. It's our home and it deserves our gratitude as much as everyone else.
