This is episode number ninety six of the Vainglory podcast, Shatter The Vain. I’m Brad Chmielewski and this is a podcast all about the MOBA Vainglory created by Super Evil Megacorp. We are now into the second update of the Spring Season. We’re also about to kick off the second qualifiers for VGL. At this moment it’s an exciting time for the game and update 1.17 seems to be setting the stage for some very big changes that will be coming down the pipeline. This update isn’t lacking in content or changes either. With this update we’re getting a new game mode and three skins for Phinn and a limited edition Rona skin that is basically free to anyone who plays enough games this month. Joining me for this rundown of update 1.17 is Boixoss Nois, the lead designer for Team Phoenix. Boixoss Nois has been playing this game since the initial North American launch and has an inside look at what’s happening during the VIS with the heroes being played. So he has some great things to share about some of the balance changes we’re seeing in this update from Super Evil Megacorp.
