Valeria Kechichian is the co-founder and CEO of Longboard Girls Crew, an organization that put female long boarding on the map. In the beginning, Valeria and her crew successfully got some international media attention and started not only gaining recognition for women but achieving a bigger goal: getting thousands of women around the world into the sport and breaking social stereotypes while doing so.

Eight years later, Longboard Girls Crew has grown into the biggest community in the action sports industry and one of the biggest female communities in the world, acknowledged in more than 180 countries with official crews and ambassadors in more than 60.

Valeria is an Argentinian born bad ass who now travels the globe working relentlessly to support and promote women through action sports – reinforcing the female role in the industry and in society in general, changing the existing perception of women and more importantly their perception of themselves.
