Episode 17: Shazam!

What if getting the powers of a god still wasn’t enough to fix your movie? This week on I Can Fix Your Movie, we grab the wizard’s staff, yell “Shazam!” way too many times, and try to figure out how a film about a kid-turned-superhero somehow forgot to have a super powered storyline. The charm is there, the jokes (mostly) land—but we saw some serious missed opportunities hiding in plain sight.

So we ask the real questions: What if the emotional beats hit harder than a lightning bolt? And what if the final act didn’t feel like it needed a magical rewrite… but got one anyway? Or… Why does the younger Shazam feel older than the grown up version? We break it all down, rebuild it from the ground up, and pitch the version of Shazam! that could’ve truly been super.
