On this episode of the Osborne Adventure Podcast, Val and I sit down with our friend and neighbor Jen, a firefighter and mom whose daughters have become fast friends with our kids over the past few months. What started as kids running back and forth between houses has turned into something bigger, and we ended up having a conversation about what it’s actually like for another family to step into our world.

We talk about how naturally their kids have connected with Ren, the kind of moments that you can’t really plan for but end up meaning the most, and a few stories that still make us laugh. There’s also one that caught us completely off guard, a school project that says more about what we’re doing than we ever could.
