Today’s story is Corey’s story. Corey is a handsome black man in his early 30s born and raised in South Carolina. Despite their humble background, and despite living in a state in a state where opportunities for black people are very few and far between, Corey’s parents worked extremely hard to give him and his siblings a great childhood and education. 

Corey got married in 2017 to his HS sweetheart, and despite the traumatic and abrupt end to his marriage, Corey doesn’t carry any animosity or hold any grudges towards his marriage or ex-wife. Throughout the interview, he spoke in a very peaceful, almost meditative, tone. He used his marriage and divorce experience to grow, move forward and try to make the world a better place. This is his story.
