Matt Brown has inspired men - including many from Pacific communities - to break free from the cycle of abuse.

This led to him and his wife, Sarah, writing the book, She Is Not Your Rehab, which shows how men can heal from their trauma.

Matt Brown is the owner of Christchurch’s My Father’s Barber.

He has co-authored a book, She Is Not Your Rehab, with his wife Sarah, a creative producer.

The couple hold monthly men’s groups at their barbershop and partner with the Ministry of Social Development to help barbers create a safe space for men.
