Not Silent Podcast with Arbana Xharra - Ep 16 - Paris Iran Special Part 2 - Asal Rezapour
In this episode of Iran: The Untold Story, 21-year-old Asal Rezapour shares a deeply personal journey shaped by loss, and an unshakable commitment to freedom.
Born in Tehran and raised in Luxembourg, Asal comes from a family of political prisoners. Her uncle was executed by the regime in 1984, a legacy that continues to shape her activism today.
Despite never having seen Iran with her own eyes, Asal has made a conscious choice: to be a voice for those who cannot speak. Inspired by the courage of young women on the front lines of protests, she believes it is her responsibility to continue the fight for a democratic Iran.
“As long as they are risking their lives for freedom, I must do my part.”
