On this episode, I talk with Heidy Tejeda.  Heidy is the owner and operator of Pilates Unleashed Studio located in Eastchester, New York.  She is a certified yoga and Pilates instructor.  Heidy studied at the renowned Jivamutki Yoga Center and was trained in the Stott Pilates method.

On this episode, I talk with LaSonya Alexander.  LaSonya is a divorced mother of 7 children she raises independently.  After a period of sudden job loss and homelessness following a family crisis, LaSonya fought to return her family to a place of stability and joy.  She went on to become winner of the 2017-2018 Ms. Illinois American Elegance pageant and spearheaded the resurgence of the organization she founded in 2008, Moms Can Do It 2 which provides clothing and other basic necessities to single mothers and their children in and around Chicago, Illinois.  LaSonya has written her first book, a memoir, and looks forward to its publication.
