A three-week worship series called “She Speaks: Three Powerful Quotes from Three Powerful Women” began on January 19, 2025, as we considered the stories of lesser-known women in our holy text. The exhortation, “Do not be afraid,” comes from a woman at war named Jael and can be found in Judges 5:24-26.
