Hannah a barren wife prayed her deepest desire to have a baby in the temple and she left it there. Not only did she ask, she promised her gift back to God in thanksgiving to Him honoring her request. In time God id just that, He honored her prayer and she gave birth to her son Samuel but, she kept her word and offered her son back to God. In turn God blessed her with more children.
