Can't Find My Way Home...

"She was described to me as an R'n'B sensation from the 80's..." - EP29 with Jeff Sinclair

Listen Later

In this episode of Can’t Find My Way Home, I was joined by Jeff Sinclair.

Jeff, from Winnipeg, Canada, spent the best part of a decade in Seoul, South Korea, before returning back to Winnipeg at the end of 2017.

As well as getting into Jeff’s Expat Journey, we also touch on how he got into improv and the stand-up comedy scene.

Working as a founding member of the Stand-Up Seoul organisation, taking comedy shows on the road in South Korea - with special mentions for Expat outposts such as Pohang and Gumi - all this and the best gravy he’s ever had...What’s not to like?

What are some of the differences between audiences in Canada and South Korea? Does material work in both places? Who’re the best hecklers? Jeff tells us more…

What does the ‘expat experience’ mean to Jeff and why you should give it a try...if you’re so inclined. Pub quizzes, soju stories and working on the same bill as - and I quote -

An R’n’B sensation from the 1980’s…

Jeff’s Top 5 includes Black Pink, Royal Canoe, The Guess Who, and the craft of joke telling!

All this and just what is Buffalaxing?
