This week we visit with Kari Tauring about the folk tradition where she grew up in Minnesota. The Nordic folkways have inspired her to become an author, recording artist, folk dance instructor, and professional völva. Kari shares how she came to develop her staff carrying tradition, aka Völva Stav, as well as the new addition of her book, The Runes: A Deeper Journey.  The music for this episode was kindly provided by Kari from her albums Ljos and Svart.
