The December blues...that's what it is. The women have crashed out the UCL at the group stage. The men have drew yet again this time to an injury hit Everton team that fielded teenagers. While the draw leaves us 3rd on 37 pts, 4 pts off the top, it is still no excuse for the display we saw. 81% vs 19% possession yet 1 point. We NEED to do better if we are to be taken seriously as title contenders. We are still in it but, just but.

Two UCL draws in one day but we got the same opponent both times...prepare for the "Eden Hazard" derby. Also what is going on with our solid defense??? 10 goals conceded in the last 5 games!!! What/how will TT solve this issue? We will wait to see. Plus a contract renewal on the horizon, two defenders on their way out, and rumors of a legend returning...

One trophy, two diametrically opposed games, and three mistakes. That sums up this past week for Chelsea better than any other. From flying high on top of the league to being 3rd in the space of 7 days, that's the Prem for you. Thick and fast as the games come this month, the guys NEED to do better. The women continue to put the hurt on in their league and as a result have won the FA Cup while beating a cross town rival. Goes with more to say that Emma Hayes continues to have a strong case for being the coach for our Men's senior team.

Back after the international break with a bang...that's how all Chelsea teams did it this past week as we scored 21 goals and conceded 1 in a display of utter dominance and overall performance. From the U-18 putting on a 6 goal showing to Kirby's 100th goal to Kerr's 1st half hattrick to the Senior Men scoring 7 in 2 games to the U-23's finding their mojo in a winning romp; all the Blues showed what they are capable of in an exciting week of football.
