For thousands of years, Jewish people have prayed these words every morning and every evening: “Hear O Israel, the LORD is our God, the LORD is one, and as for you, you shall love the LORD your God with all of your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” This prayer is called the “Shema.” To begin our Spring Retreat, Haley encourages us to reflect on the very first word, which is Shema!
