A criminal investigation in Egypt that began in 2018 with the discovery of a male body in a public garden in Masaken Sheraton. The victim, later identified as twenty-year-old engineering student Mohamed, had been stabbed multiple times during a struggle. Authorities connected the murder to a missing person report from Mohamed’s mother, noting he was carrying 25,000 pounds to purchase a used laptop from an online seller. Investigation revealed two men, Hussein and Ahmed, who ran a scam selling fake electronics and routinely lured victims to the park to rob them, using violence when Mohamed resisted the theft.
