Sheriff Bride
This was a very clean and wholesome book. Very enjoyable to read. This Author is amazing. So thankful I had the chance to read it. Put together very well as a stand alone or to be able to read with the others. Looking forward to reading the next one from this Author.
Can I Have My Money back ?
I didn't even finish this book ... it was "preachy" and so unreal. I absolutely tried several times to like it but found it so tiresome of a read. I finaly gave up. I believe in sharing the gospel by relating to people with the love of Jesus, but not pushing a buch of religious words at them. Sorry, I did not like this book.
ok
Enjoyed readubg but probably wouldn't read again. I might try another book written by the same writters in the future.
Tough sisters of the old west
Cowboys, tough guys, burly drunks, bank robbers--all normal folks found in your typical old western towns. The untypical is the fact that all these ruffians are held in line by not one, but four sheriffs. The even more untypical is that the four sheriffs are women and sisters at that!!! This is the first book in the series by Teresa Ives Lily. The story gives the sad history of the sisters which made them able to handle the duties of sheriff, much to the chargrin of the town banker who sent out the call for a sheriff. Teresa writes this book as an inspirational western romance. I can hardly wait to read the rest of the books in the series. Thanks Teresa for a great read.
GOD DOESN'T MAKE MISTAKES, WE DO
What a delightful story of four brave woman, sisters, who have never been treated well by their father during their entire life. How dare they be girls, so even though their late mother was allowed to give them feminine names, they were called Sam, Jo, Dan and Rob. What a shock to the town of Waterhole, who had hired John Hardin to be their new sheriff, and in his place, four young women show up with the news that John was dead and they were there to fill the job of Sheriffs. Mark Carlin, the banker and man who hired Hardin, sure is not happy. But don't stand in the way of a determined woman, much less four of them. The storyline and dialogue is entertaining and these feisty and definitely talented ladies, prove in several cases, they are definitely the persons for the job of Sheriff. Not only can they out gun, but their love of God shines through and harden men find Christ as their Savior. I love the quote, "If God has forgiven you, you have to forgive yourself too." Waterhole, Texas will never be the same with the Hardin Sisters as the newest Sheriffs and town residents. Disclosure: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own. (Very minor edit issues, nothing to ruin the story!)
