Sheriff Farris is recognized throughout Tennessee as one of the finest officers in the country. Beginning as a Correctional Officer with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office in Cookeville TN., he is now in his second term as Sheriff of that department. 
In his lengthy career (30+ years) Eddie worked as a State Trooper, THP/CID Investigator, and Special Agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. He has been a member of numerous state and federal Task Forces. He is known as a legendary undercover operative.
