Welcome to Raven's Readings. I'm reading from The Sign of the Four, written by Arthur Conan Doyle in 1890. This novel features his character, Sherlock Holmes, a detective who excels in observation, deduction, logic, and forensics. Assisting Holmes is Doctor John Watson. The Sherlock stories are narratives written from the POV of Watson, as he attempts to record and publicize Sherlock's work. This novel is the second in the series.

In the last chapter, we had a missing treasure and a murder. Holmes has deduced who the murderer likely was and that he had an accomplice. He will escort Miss Marsden back home and then fetch a bloodhound. Meanwhile, Holmes will search for more clues.

I do readings twice a week, so this collection should take about six weeks. Please subscribe to my Substack newsletter, you'll be notified of my updates as soon as they are ready. If you enjoy this reading, or have other classics you'd like to hear, leave me a comment.
