This episode was difficult to edit, because the murder of a prominent right-wing pundit has sparked a wave of political exploitation. We want to be clear: we are not mocking his death, nor do we condone violence of any kind. His murder was a tragedy and should never have happened.
What we do criticize is the way his death is being used as a prop for performative politics. The same party that insists it is non-violent is using this tragedy to incite anger, encourage harassment, and even call for violence against liberals and anyone who refuses to canonize his memory. Meanwhile, they continue to downplay or ignore other tragedies — from mass shootings in schools to the murder of liberal politicians and their families.
This episode highlights the hypocrisy and the dangerous rhetoric surrounding this event. It’s not about celebrating a death. It’s about calling out those who would exploit it to push a country further into authoritarianism.
