Jesus was made perfect through His faith, fervency, and submission in suffering.

The Barrier to our perfection is laziness. (v11)

“There is much more we would like to say about this, but it is difficult to explain, especially since you are spiritually dull and don’t seem to listen.‭‭” (NLT)

“Concerning this we have much to say which is hard to explain, since you have become dull in your [spiritual] hearing and sluggish [even slothful in achieving spiritual insight].” (AMPC)
