On this week's episode of The Rural Woman Podcast™, you'll meet Hannah Miller. Hannah is a 26-year-old farmer running her own business on her family's 175-acre farm in central Massachusetts. She has about 500 egg-laying chickens, 4 dairy cows that produce raw milk, and a small herd of goats who go on "goat hikes" with farm visitors. Hannah has a passion for working with livestock, being outdoors as much as possible, and connecting her local community to an agrarian way of life. The farm was an active dairy farm for many decades, but her family sold the cows in the late 90's, and for the last 20 years it was more or less just a hobby farm. Many of the fields became overgrown, the barns fell into disrepair, etc. For full show notes, including links mentioned in the show, head over to wildrosefarmer.com/133 . . .
