Shifting our Attitude: Embracing Gratitude 

Luke 17:11-19

To embrace stewardship as a lifestyle, we need to shift our attitude and this will require that we embrace gratitude.

Shift

God’s word doesn’t just call us to give some of what we have (our time, talent, and treasures) from time to time.  It calls us to something deeper, to stewardship.  True Biblical stewardship is understanding that all we have is a gift from God; therefore, we are to seek to be good managers or stewards of what God has entrusted to us. This means that stewardship isn’t really an action, but a lifestyle.  However, embracing stewardship as a lifestyle means making a major shift involving our priorities, our attitude, and our hearts.
