Sam Coffman has been a clinical herbalist for over 30 years and a former Green Beret with a Master's in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. He is a co-owner and founded Herbal Medics Academy, where he teaches Herbal Medicine Preparedness, Advanced Herbal medicine making, post-disaster herbal Medicine, Urban and Primitive Survival skills, and off-grid technology for communities. Over the last three decades, Sam's goal has been to create an integrative medical model that embraces vitalistic, TCM, and Western medical approaches to herbalism and healthcare. He currently runs his academy, herbal clinic, and apothecary in Taos, NM.
