Shila, Samadhi and Prajna are Sanskrit words used in the traditional teaching of Buddhism. Shila is sometimes called morality or discipline. Samadhi is “not-two” or meditation. Prajna is seeing deeply into the nature of something often translated as wisdom. To simplify Sokuzan teaches “Shila: sit down. Samadhi: observe. Prajna: See what it is.”
