- The SkyePod - Drew's News: Outrage Over The Chosen's Angels, Halloween Dad's Meltdown, & Evangelical Water
Skye talks with Drew Dyck about strange stories from around the web. The trailer for season six of "The Chosen" reveals Native American and Asian angels. Is it "forced diversity," a Mormon dog whistle, or something even more sinister? They unpack the ridiculous controversy. What does the daily schedule of James Bond author Ian Fleming teach us about creativity? A dad goes nuclear when he finds a gospel message in his son's Halloween candy, leading Skye to talk about the ordinary challenges of pluralism. Does reading Paul's letters in the New Testament in a different order reveal something about the apostle's transformation over time? And have we unknowingly confused Christianity with evangelical culture?
