Liz Matzkin, MD is the surgical director for Women’s Musculoskeletal Health and Chief of Women’s Sports Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is also the fellowship director for Brigham and Women’s/Harvard Medical School's Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. 

Dr. Matzkin went to medical school at Tulane, and was the first female surgeon in both her orthopedic residency at the University of Hawaii and her shoulder and sports orthopedic fellowship at Duke University.

Liz is a team physician at the national and collegiate level and a runner herself.

She has a multitude of research publications in addition to being published in Runner's World.
