Today, I want to share some thoughts from my heart to yoursabout how this tendency is something that exists within all of us in some form,and what we can do to prevent someone we love so much, or even ourselves.
What exactly is suicide?
Suicide is the deliberate act of causing one’s own death,typically as a result of experiencing intense emotional pain, mental healthdisorders such as depression, feelings of hopelessness, or other psychologicalstress. It is a complex issue influencedby various biological, psychological, social and environmental factors.
A suicide leaves families shattered, Children with unansweredquestions, Parents broken for life, colleagues haunted, a society searching forexplanation, one life lost creates a life time of grief.
Let me start with a story,
This is not merely the story of one business man.
It’s the story of countless silent battles fought behindimpressive titles and towering achievements.
His story reminds us that mental health struggles don’tdiscriminate; they can happen to anyone.
Dr. Roy’s story, though tragic is also a beacon, reminding usthat help is available, and that none is alone in this flight, but he didn’tuse it.
In today’s hyper-competitive world, leaders often carryunbearable burdens alone unable to show vulnerability. The higher one rises, the lonelier the personbecomes.
