（１）意味を理解（和訳はしない）
（２）発音を把握（シラブルとストレス）
（３）１０回復唱（文字を見ずに行う）

｜シャドーイングの欠点　

発音がまともに出来ない人にはシャドーイングはおすすめ出来ません。
・ペースが早いので発音が適当になりがち
・何となく出来た気になってしまう
・ただつられて口を動かしているだけ
・あまり覚えていないので再現性が低い

｜意味を理解　

決して和訳はせずにスラッシュリーディングで理解すること
”From this day forward/ our country will flourish/ and be respected again/ all over the world/”
・意味の区切りを見極める
・ニュアンスさえ分かればOK

｜発音を把握　

特に音節（シラブル）と強勢（ストレス）の位置、またその母音の種類を把握しよう
”Our sovereignty will be reclaimed”
/aur sah vuh run tee wil bee ri kleimt/
・文のストレスは主に内容語に置かれる
・内容語のストレス母音はしっかり伸ばす
・それ以外の機能語は軽く添える程度に発音

｜１０回復唱　

動画を意味のかたまりごとに一時停止させながら、その音声を真似る。
例えば、始めの５回は文字を見て、残り５回は暗唱する。口がスムーズに動くまでやる。
・当たり前に使える言葉は１回だけ暗唱
・使い慣れていない言葉は５回ほど復唱
・知らなかった言葉は最低１０回は復唱
