ShockCast Ep. 166 - Gameageddon 2014: Part One

It always seems to happen this way: We’ll go months without any big releases and then BAM, we’re suddenly inundated with a flood of games. This week alone has seen the release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster and will also see the release of inFAMOUS: Second Son. What’s a gamer to do with all of these games to play?

We also discuss what makes a game a “system seller” and what games have gotten us to buy a particular console. On top of that we also dive into some gaming news, in particular, the recent exodus of producers and executives from certain game studios/publishers.
