In this Episode we learn about lasting Sholom Bayis, peace in the home, between husband and wife, and between family members. Utilizing the Torah portion Shmini and Sefiras Hamoner and connecting the commandment of "Loving your fellow as Yourself", we discuss how first one must love themselves before they can love others. Including the Five Love Languages with our spouse and children, which we learn from the Jewish Marriage Chuppa ceremony, we incorporate the love that our family actually craves and needs, rather than what we think they need. We discuss the Gottman method of conflict resolution and self-care, so that we can adequately be prepared when challenging discussions arise in our families.
This episode is in memory of Gittel bas Yibadel Lechaim tovim aruchim Aharon Eliyahu OBM
