Christopher J. Wirth is the founder and president of No Quit Living, as well as The Positivity Tribe. As a professional speaker, author, coach and trainer, Christopher works with individuals, sports teams, schools and corporations to help improve accountability, effectiveness, and efficiency through his process – “The Positive Mental Advantage.” He is the host of the No Quit Living Podcast, which has been rated as a top 50 Podcast on iTunes in three different categories: Business, Health, and Self-Help. Christopher recently published his first book titled “The Positivity Tribe.” He has coached Basketball at the High School and Collegiate Levels. Deanna Mayza ('13 Hill School) had an incredible high school career, as she graduated as the all-time leading scorer in basketball (1,222 points) and soccer (67 goals) in three years at The Hill School! She led her team to two league championships and two state championships, while receiving First Team All Area and First Team All Conference honors. Deanna was also named the Pottstown Mercury Player of the Year in 2011-12. She took her talents to the University of Hartford where she was the first player in program history to record 1.000-plus career points (1,222) and 300-plus assists (476). Deanna closed out her career ranked eighth in scoring, second in assists, fourth in three-point field goals made (160), fourth in free-throw percentage (.784) and seventh in free throws made (258). Deanna set the single-season record for assists (170 – 2014-15) and minutes played (1,166 – 2014-15). She was named to the All Conference and All Academic teams during her time at Hartford. After college, Deanna played professionally in Denmark and Lithuania. She currently coaches at the Hill School!
Khalif Wyatt, a 2009 Graduate of Norristown HS, enjoyed an incredible high school career filled with many amazing accomplishments. As a junior, Khalif led the Eagles to a 33-2 finish on the way to the district and state championship games. He is one of the best players in the history of Norristown High School, being named to the PA All State team for two seasons. Khalif then took his talents to Temple University where he scored nearly 1600 points, averaging 17ppg as a junior and 20ppg as a senior. He shot 45% from field, 83% from the foul line, dished out 300 assists and grabbed 300 rebounds. After earning a spot on the Atlantic 10 Second Team as a junior, Khalif exploded as a senior, being named Atlantic 10 and Big Five Player of the year. He enjoyed incredible performances in the NCAA tournament, scoring 31 in a win over NC State and 31 in a tough loss to Victor Oladipo and Indiana. Upon graduation, Khalif played for the Sixers in the NBA summer league. He then transitioned into a prolific pro career at the highest of levels playing in China, Isreal, Phillipines, France and the D League. More recently, Khalif played for "Team Brotherly Love in "The Basketball Tournament", which is a hoops tournament featuring some of the best players in the country who are not currently NBA players. Khalif also started his own clothing brand M SPORT, which is a lifestyle apparel and training company (https://www.m-sportco.com/).
Fletcher Magee is a 2015 Graduate of the FIRST ACADEMY in Orlando FLORIDA where he was 3 Sport Athlete playing basketball, golf and football. In basketball, he was All Area, All State, 3A Player of the Year, District Player of the Year which led him to a Division 1 scholarship at Wofford University. At Wofford, Fletcher became the best 3 pt shooter in the history of COLLEGE BASKETBALL!! He had an incredible collegiate career, earning Rookie of the Year, averaging 14ppg shooting 48%from 3! He continued to shine over the next three years: Sophomore (19ppg) Junior (22ppg/43% from 3), Senior Year (20ppg). He surpassed Stephen Curry for the all-time leader in made 3-pointers in SoCon history en route to passing J.J. Redick, Travis Bader and others for most career 3-pointers with 509, while scoring over 2500 points. Finished career with a 90.8 free-throw percentage which ranks first at Wofford. Fletcher shot 45.7 percent from the field and 43.5 percent from 3-point range for his career (1st all-time at Wofford). Upon graduating, had multiple tryouts with NBA teams and played on the BUCKS summer league team. He then transitioned into a pro career at the highest of levels this year in ACB- top league in Spain and continued to excel. Enjoy!
Kevin Small has been the head coach at Ursinus College for the past 20 years. In that time, he has built an incredible program leading the Bears to four Centennial Conference Championships, a Final Four appearance, and many successful seasons. A two-time NABC Mid-Atlantic Coach of the Year, he was honored in 2008 by the Philadelphia Small College Coaches Association as the Sam Cozen Coach of the Year. Small's teams have also been honored five times by the College Basketball Officials Association with the association's Sportsmanship award (2003, 05, 06 and 08) and won the Schoenfeld National CBOA Sportsmanship Award in 2006 and again in 2019. Before stopping in Collegeville full-time, Small had coaching experience in the Centennial serving as an assistant at Haverford (1991-94) and Ursinus (1994-97), and also served on the staff at Swarthmore (1997-99). He has served as chair of the Centennial Conference men's basketball committee, on the ECAC men's basketball selection committee, and on the NCAA men's basketball championship selection committee.
Mike Poysden has been the head boys basketball coach at Perkiomen Valley HS since 2012. Since then, Mike has totally reignited the PV Hoops program, winning the PAC 10 Championship in his first season as head coach, and then again in 2017. Regarded as one of the best basketball coaches in our area, Mike has led the team to numerous upsets, including an incredible Roman Catholic team in 2017 that featured a handful of high level Division 1 players. Mike shares his hoop journey and some of the ways he maximizes talent through his coaching style and philosophy. This episode features some amazing teaching points for coaches, players and educators! Shoot to Make Podcast Episode #34 with Archbishop Wood Head Boys Basketball Coach John Mosco. Coach Mosco has had an incredible impact on Philadelphia Catholic Basketball for over two decades. John was a longtime assistant coach at Neumann Goretti HS with the legendary Carl Arrigale where they led the team to amazing levels of success capturing countless Catholic League titles and numerous State Titles. John took over Archbishop Wood in 2013 and has transformed the program into a perennial powerhouse. Named Head coach at Archbishop Wood HS in 2013. A school known for their football and girls basketball, John has truly revamped this program and made them one of the best programs in the state. Under his leadership, the Vikings captured the 2017 Catholic League and PIAA 5A State Title, while also recently being named the TEAM OF THE DECADE by many local media outlets. They continued their winning ways, capturing the the District 12 title in 2018. Coached countless players who went to play collegiately and professionally, including Villanova University star point guard Collin Gillespie. John has been named PIAA State Coach of the year, Catholic Coach of the Year and was selected to coach the NIKE GLOBAL CHALLENGE Team in Chicago, which is a tournament featuring the top HS players in the world. A three-time Associated Press Coach of the Year, Lower Merion High School Head Coach Gregg Downer has been named “Best Basketball Coach in Pennsylvania” by USA Today and has amassed more than 600 career victories, three state championships, 17 league titles and a 70% winning percentage. More than 70 of Downer’s players have gone on to play basketball at the college and professional levels, including NBA MVP Kobe Bryant ‘96. Downer is an inductee in three sports hall of fames in Pennsylvania and is among the most successful youth coaches in the United States. Before his passing, Bryant called Downer “one of the best coaches I have ever had.”
