After losing her job to an artificial intelligence, Janet impulsively decides to drive to an observatory where she can watch the Perseid meteor shower. However, just before she arrives, Janet stops to take a break and finds herself mistaken for someone looking for work as an extra on a nearby film set. She decides to play along but soon discovers that there is something more going on than a simple film shoot.
