Mere days away from the start of Vancouver's own Asian Film Festival, we had a chance to sit down with Kathy Leung, the VAFF's own programming adviser to give us the scoop on how the VAFF came together, their goals and what they have in store this year for cool movies! Just coming up on their twentieth anniversary, VAFF's crew of volunteers have been providing very cool programming and steadily growing within the community of Vancouver to spotlight movies that wouldn't otherwise get a chance to be seen.
