Good Read
Overall it was a good story line. The plot was interesting enough for those with a curious mind to want to keep reading until the end. Nothing spectacular or "epic", but that isn't the intent of this short novel. You basically get a "day in the life" view of some unsavory characters and a few of the people in their lives. Some good action scenes, love interests, friends, family, and some harsh businessmen. Plenty of death and destruction. The book does what it should by giving you an understanding of who these characters are without taking a long time to do so. 3 stars because I feel the author can improve the flow and imagery of his writing to enhance the experience of the reader and create more depth.
Short lived by Michael Pritsos
Short lived tells the stories of a couple different characters in a dark and gritty way. The book captures the readers attention from beginning to end. Nine different stories that intertwine in a excellent way. I will be expecting more books from this author
Great Read
Talk about a page turner. I enjoyed how each chapter changed perspectives on the same story. I really hope there is more to come from the author about the York brothers. Very well written and I didn't stop reading it until I was finished.

Beautifully Gritty
The author's gritty descriptions paint an extremely vivid picture of the unfortunate darkness that can be found within all of us. This was a very enjoyable, and very dramatic book, and I am glad that I picked it up.
