So many believers have decided to not go to church and today we talked about the reasons why and why some believers still believe it's an important practice! 

Why Believers choose not to attend

  1. Too many hypocrites go to church -I’m spiritual not religious
  2. Too many bad experiences with Crooked leaders, sleeping around and stealing your money - Visit the church
  3. I have a personal relationship with God, involving the church in that isn’t necessary - Personally God has instructed us in his word to go, when I surrender , working somewhere
  4. None of them deliver the word like my online TV Pastor I straight - UB Students

    5. There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death - Proverbs 14:12

    Why Believers choose to attend

    1. Reframing of mind- Bride of Christ and not an just institution you were forced to go to when you didn’t want to Ephesians 5:22-33
    2. People hurt not the entire church - I’m not a bad person, I’ve done bad things 
    3. Members are an extension of family and there in the time of need and Vice versa - Hebrews 10:25
    4. They lovingly help you to grow and provide accountability in your own life - Jackie Perry Prayer - The while if the new testament is addressed to the church

      5. “For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word.”

      Ephesians 5:25-26 NLT

      “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

      Hebrews 10:25 NLT

      Why I am thankful I go to church

      1. Community
      2. I grew into who God called me to be- earliest memory, Harvest
      3. I get to serve others, teach others and sow back into God’s people
      4. Foundation of accountability
