In this episode, Jenna introduces Dr. Wayne Grudem as the author of “Politics According to the Bible” which will be the text that is used (read aloud) to assess each major topic in politics, government and law. In the book, before diving into each of the political topics and before explaining his own understanding of the proper role of Christians in politics, he examines what he believes are 5 sadly mistaken views regarding the role of Christians in politics that have been propagated by many writers throughout history. Then, he proposes what he thinks is a better, more balanced solution. The first of these mistaken views discussed today is the view that “Government should compel religion.”
