Luke 17 centers powerfully on Jesus’ command to live with a heart of forgiveness. He warns that while offenses are bound to come, believers must never be the cause of another’s stumble and must always be ready to forgive. Even if someone sins against you seven times in one day, Jesus says to forgive each time they repent — showing that forgiveness has no limits in God’s Kingdom. This radical mercy reflects the nature of God Himself, who continually extends grace to those who turn back to Him. True discipleship, as Jesus teaches here, is measured not by perfection but by a spirit of humble, persistent forgiveness.
