It's important for kids to have chores. to teach them responsibilities and give them a sense of competency. They need to be self reliant. But at the same time, we want kids to feel as if they have some one who will always be there for them. Someone to always take care of them and their needs. After all, they have school and other things to worry about. They're just kids. Where do we draw the line in over exerting ourselves and how do we get our kids to learn to be responsible.
