In Episode 19 of the Lets Trash Talk podcast, Ed and Sara would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! This is the first episode of 2015. Ed and Sara talk New Year's Resolutions, what 2014 will be remembered for, and the biggest douchebags of the year.

On Christmas Day, a man was mauled to death by his 8 year old pet pit bull. This happens after Ed and Sara covered the story of the autistic girl who had a pit bull as a service animal. They thought pit bulls were getting a bad rap but after this new story made headlines, has their opinions changed?

Less than a week ago, a 29 year old mother was shot and killed inside an Idaho Walmart. Who pulled the trigger? The woman's 2 year old son. Ed and Sara discuss this horrific story and the new debate for stricter gun control that has arisen due to this story. All this and more on episode 19 of the Lets Trash Talk podcast.

It's now the year 2015, has anyone made any New Year's Resolutions? Before 2014 becomes a distant memory, let's give it a little tribute. Ed and Sara ask what will 2014 be remembered for. Sara believes it's the Polar Vortex. Ed says 2014 was the year of Ebola.

Ed and Sara discuss who was the biggest douchebag of 2014. Sara's award goes to Roger Goodell, the NFL commissioner, for the way he handled the Ray Rice domestic violence incident. Ed actually has 3 awards to hand out. His number 3 goes to Robin Williams, number 2 goes to Jone Rivers, and his number one douchebag of the year award goes to none other than Donald Sterling.

On Christmas Day, 40 year old Edward Cahill was killed by his pet pit bull terrier. He was discovered by his girlfriend, who found him covered in blood and unresponsive. A preliminary cause of death was due to massive blood loss from dog bite wounds on his neck, face and arms. Learn more about this pit bull attack here.

A few days ago, 29 year old Veronica Rutledge was shopping in Walmart with her son and 3 nieces in Hayden, Idaho. Her 2 year old son reached into her purse, got ahold of her gun, and shot her in the head. Veronica Rutledge was instantly killed. She did have a permit for the concealed weapon.
