This week, Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes was ordered by a judge to share his official calendar with the news media. He had fought to keep those private. Hours after the ruling, the Utah legislature passed a bill that says going forward, all public officials' calendars will not be considered public documents under Utah's GRAMA law (Government Records Access Management Act.) KSL Newsradio's Amanda Dickson asked her guests on A Woman's View if those calendars should be public. Her guests this week include Sally Dietlein, Executive Producer at Hale Center Theater, Cherie Call, singer and songwirter, and Sarah Strang, COO of The Road Home and teacher in the social work department at the University of Utah.
