On Tuesday we crossed the line. For the first time in history, the Government, or at least the Federal Reserve, began to directly invest in private industry.

Now this move has been underway for weeks now. And it was fully authorized by the US Congress, and signed into law by the President. All part of the CARES Act, The Corona Virus, Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, passed back on March 27th.
