It's a loaded question, isn't it?

The negative effects of social media is a hot topic a present. How can we as followers of Jesus make best use of the digital world? Should we be in it at all?

A few months ago, Netflix released a documentary called 'The Social Dilemma'.  The film explores the rise of social media and the damage it has caused to society, focusing on its exploitation of its users for financial gain through surveillance capitalism and data mining, how its design is meant to nurture an addiction, its use in politics, its effect on mental health.

We got together with evangelist Matt Lewis from South Africa to hear his thoughts on how we can glorify God in an eco-system that preys on the weaknesses and vulnerabilities of mankind.
