As part of my assessment to become an instructor in the UK Army Cadets I have to have a lot of security checks done to make sure I am not a risk. So far these checks and assessments have taken just over 5 month. 

In this podcast I ask the question who dont other companies run the same checks on people who are applying for jobs where they will come into contact with children and vulnerable adults?
