According to CBS 6 News, Studies already showed spanking can lead to behavior problems. Now researchers find it may also hurt a child's cognitive development.Researchers say children spanked by fathers displayed decreases in verbal capacity by age nine and children who were spanked at least twice a week by their mother at 3 or 5-years-old were more likely to break rules and act aggressively.
