Have you ever considered learning to play the drums for the first time? It definitely looks cool, but is it practical to learn on your own? How hard is it? Would you be better off learning the guitar? Are lessons worth doing?

Well let’s drum up a bit of excitement for this week’s topic (eh?? Eh?) Because we cover all of those questions and more! 

We did one lesson in a music school to learn everything we could - from how to properly hold the drumsticks correctly to getting started with basic drumming techniques. We actually share clips from that lesson so you can hear exactly how far one lesson will advance your drumming skills.

And let me tell you now, it’s not fu**ing far enough! 

So whether you're interested in taking up drumming as a hobby or pursuing it more seriously, when it comes to drumming advice for beginners, this episode is like a broken drum .. you just can’t beat it! 

(We promise our humour is usually better than that very weak joke, but do expect to hear some questionable ones during our game of the week, “Badum bum sshhhhh” - sorry in advance!)
