Should You Flip The Switch?

Season 2 | Episode 01

Welcome, this video was created while on site at my remote mineral claim in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My previous goal/target of remaining, alone for over 365 days without services has been achieved! If you're curious about that kind of thing, you can check out some of my previous videos, but keep in mind they are quite different to this one, and they mainly consist of video cobbled together, without any script, and no real plan.

While I am indeed still alone on-site, visitors were kind enough to bring me a few additional supplies, most importantly, coffee. Thank you again to my visitors, and safe travels!

FAQ:

Q: What's the deal, this video isn't about survival, or living off grid?
A: Apologies, I admit this video is a little way off the track 😉 I would point out the title of the channel does mention philosophy. With that said I'm still out here off the grid, and so there will be more content related to that type of thing in future.

Q: This seems obvious, why bother?

A: Well, I'm glad to hear that, but in my experience, many don't seem to appreciate that in this case, in order to be the hero, you must also become a villain.

Q: Why gun regulation as an example, the analogy doesn't really fit perfectly?

A: True, the two most obvious issues are the ratio of people on main, and alternate lines, and the inability to know what lies beyond either group on the track. Firearm regulation, maybe unfortunately, is a commonly known and familiar, and mainly why I decided to use it. Most importantly however is the fact that firearm regulations fit the condition that the resulting outcome may be life or death.

Tired of ads? I'm posting my videos on peer-tube at the same time, same content, no ads!

If de-monetizing these videos would remove the adds from the YouTube platform, I would do so, alas, the ads are here to stay.
