In this episode of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries, I’m sharing the importance of evaluating who is already on your team crossed with the responsibilities needed to be covered to hit your goals and actionable steps you can take right now to fill in the gaps and round out these functions in your business. Some of the things I cover in this episode are:
- Celebrating Allyson Felix, a six-time gold medalist track runner who continues to fight for the rights of mothers after Nike cut her contract following her life-saving c-section.
- Listing the major functions and the responsibilities within that function of your business that are required to operate day-to-day.
- Filling your current team members into the open seats, assigning responsibilities, and noticing where there may be gaps.
- Assessing all of the options that are available to you and cross-checking them with your budget in order to fill the gaps within your business.
- My deep thoughts on how women are speaking with their dollars against Victoria’s Secret and other companies alike by demanding the representation of real women of different shapes and sizes.
By using this exercise, you can release the fear around hiring and do so in a smart and intentional way.
